Board and Train

  • Board and Trains are 2-3 weeks of intensive training. This is a great option for those looking to get faster results, are dealing with more serious behavior issues, or who have limited time to commit to training on their own. Your dog will come stay with us at our home and learn, play and train as part of our family. We include follow-up lessons to insure that your dog’s new knowledge successfully transfers to you and your home.

  • 2 Weeks + 3 private lessons - $2100

    3 Weeks + 3 private lessons - $2800

Puppy Camp

  • We developed Puppy Camp specifically for dogs under six months because a strong foundation leads to a lifetime of happiness with your dog. Similar to a Board and Train, your pup comes to live with us in our home and is treated with all the same care and love we give our own dogs. Puppy camp focuses on age appropriate skills and issues such as house training, addressing common puppy problems, proper socializing, confidence building, body awareness, crate training, and cooperative care.

  • 2 Week + one private lesson - $1500

    3 Week + two private lessons- $2000

FAQs About our Programs

Where does my dog stay during a Board and Train?

Unlike many Board and Train programs where your dog is in a kennel environment, our program involves your dog living in our home right along with us and our animals. This way they are training throughout the day, and practicing new skills in a home environment just like yours. We only host two Board and Train dogs at a time, so you know your dog is getting lots of individual attention every day.

If I choose a Board and Train, how will I know what my dog learns?

A board and train is only valuable if the skills your dog learns transfer to you and can be recreated within your lifestyle. That’s why three private lessons are included in the cost of the Board and Train and we discount any additional private lessons for Board and Train Clients. While your dog is away, you will receive regular updates on their training progress. We also provide written instructions covering everything your dog has learned which you can look back on at any time.

Will training change my dogs happy, goofy, cheerful attitude?

You do not have to worry about your dog losing their fun, happy spirit after training! Our training is about building your dog’s confidence so they can handle the world without fear or stress. Training will not change your dog’s personality, but it will make them a safer, more confident, happier companion who can be included in more of your life due to reliably good behavior.

What does a normal day look like for a Board and Train dog or a Puppy Camper?

There is no normal day for a Board and Train because each program is unique to the individual and changes based on their needs and abilities. However, most days start with a quick potty break and exercise time in our fully fenced yard, followed by training sessions. After a short rest, we go on a training outing to a park, trail, or a dog friendly store to work on proofing around distractions and building confidence in new places. Back at home, we have more play time, take a walk, enjoy an enrichment activity, or work on more skills, before settling in to practice calm house manners in the evening.
